1969 American Motors AMX Completely restored to perfection. You do not see many of these around and you will never see one nicer than this one. The AMX was a shorter and much quicker version of the Javelin. This 3 year only body style ran from 1968-1970. Only 8293 AMX's were produced in 1969. This is an absolutely flawless AMX with the top engine choice; a matching numbers 390ci 315hp 4bbl with Go-Pack option. In addition to the 390ci 315hp 4bbl, the Go-Pack ("X" code) option included a racing suspension, dual exhaust, power front disc brakes, center console, bucket seats. The "X" code also included the wide body stripes, wider tires, black grille and sport steering wheel. The car is completely new from top to bottom and restored to original specs throughout. Correct everywhere you look. Stage 2 repaint (base coat clear coat) in factory Matador Red on pin straight original body panels. Chrome & trim are perfect. Interior is immaculate. Engine compartment and undercarriage is as good as new. The engine compartment retains the original factory air cleaner. She starts instantly and drives beautifully. Brakes are all new so your ready to stop and go anywhere with style and reliability. Prices on these cars have gone up by as much as 30% over the past few years and its about time.
