1974 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado Convertible The 1974 Cadillac has the lowest production numbers of any other Eldorado of this bodystyle. Only 7600 were produced compared to the commonly seen 1976 where over 14000 were produced. This beautiful & unrestored Fleetwood Eldorado was the top of the line Cadillac in 1974 with a price tag of just over $10,000. In comparison, a Buick Electra 225 was $5200, Olds Toronado $5700, Mercury Marquis $5300. Even the Corvette was under $6000. What makes this Eldo even more special and a bit different from other Eldos is the white seats with the Regal Blue dash, interior trim and carpet. More than 90% were made with red trim instead of the Regal Blue. This Caddy is completely unrestored and still beautiful in Triple White; Cotillion White with white convertible top & white interior seating with Regal Blue dash & trim. The power top works perfectly, quickly and is quiet as a mouse. The original 2 piece hardcover parade boot is included as well and shown in pictures. It goes on in seconds without assistance. With less than 52500 miles, this car is mechanically as good as new. A real head turner with every option available and working fine: power steering / power disc brakes hardcover parade boot climate control A/C that blows ice cold tilt & telescopic steering AM-FM stereo & 8 track that works perfectly chronometer (fancy word for clock) auto headlight dimmer with distance adjust dual remote side mirrors outside temperature indicator on outside mirror 8way power seats (all work) power windows & door locks (all work) deck lid release and automatic shut brake light indicators.... and more The interior is like new with carved woodgrain finish no dash or seat cracks anywhere. Ashtrays have never been used. Driving this car is an absolute pleasure. Powered by a monstrous 500ci (8.2l) powerplant with front wheel drive and only 52500 actual miles. Just get in and GO in absolute comfort and style. Bring the family with you. There is plenty of room! She starts instantly, drives super smooth and incredibly quiet. She drives straight with no pulling, stops perfectly and can cruise all day in Cadillac comfort! All lights, signals and options work as they should. This is the most desirable Eldorado of the 70s and is sure to significantly increased in value! Absolutely top of the line! Because the car is original and nearly 40 years old, a few paint scratches are visible upon close inspection but you have to be Real Close.... Some seem as though the original owner tried to touch them up by himself. These are very easy fixes for the new owner but not for us to do as this would take away from the originality of the car. They are only original once. It is not our place to take that away from the integrity of the car. Other than these very minor blemishes to the exterior paint, the rest of the car is perfect. Chrome shines brilliantly, interior is flawless with no tears or dash cracks and everything works as it should.
