Priced for less than the cost of building one yourself, this exceptionally well-built Cobra roadster is the kind of car that you can keep, drive and enjoy for years to come! After five years of fine tuning, this Cobras smooth and tight Factory Five Racing body was covered in a trophy winning coat of Charcoal Gray Chrysler urethane. And since that first line of paint was laid down, it has never been in the rain, never been wet and is always detailed with a buffer and wax instead of a bucket and wash mitt. Under the hood you'll find a modern, freshly rebuilt 375 horsepower 5.0 liter Ford V8. Behind that engine, a rock solid, freshly rebuilt 5-speed manual transmission sends power to a proven 8.8 inch Ford 3.55 rear end which is stuffed with a stout Detroit Locker differential and new Richmond ring and pinion gears. At the front of the car, a billet Mustang power steering rack, that's complete with braided hoses, utilizes tubular upper control arms and high performance coil over shocks to make the most of the small blocks power. And at the corners of the car, classic 15 inch American Racing Torq Thrust Ds that are outfitted with billet center caps, no-leak valve stems and fresh 255/60 BF Goodrich Radial T/As. Even though this Cobras cockpit still honors the purist nature of its no-nonsense track shredding sports car roots, many custom touches, which include a powerful Vintage Air climate control system, ratchet up both its appeal and street capability.
