Charger fans we've don't just have an R/T for youâ'we've got an R/T SE! This awesome B5 bomber is in tip top running order, looks fantastic and is just plain rare! Since Charger was better dressed than any other B body, the SE package didn't need to be as comprehensive as it was on the Challenger. You got leather seats, the wood-grain sports wheel, pedal dress up, wood-grain dash panels (which came with the R/T anyway,) the light package, deep dish wheel covers and SE emblems on the sail panels. Chargers already had wheel lip, drip rail and belt moldings...the SE package was just icing on an already beautiful cake! Walk up to the driver's door and sight down the straight body. Chargers just look so good in B5 blue...not many other colors look as natural on the curvaceous flanks. The restored original grille inside the re-chromed front bumper starts the car off right. Out back the original, unobtainable rear finish panel is in excellent shape as are the correct taillights. There's a re-chromed bumper back here, too, barely covering the turned down exhaust tips poking out from below. All lights and lenses are in great shape and work as they should from the parking lights up front to the hood mounted turn signal assemblies in your line of sight. Original door scoops with new R/T emblems make sure no one mistakes this brawler for an average 318 car! Classic and new 15x7 chromed Magnum 500 wheels with 225/70 front and 255/60 rear B F Goodrich Radial T/A tires anchor the car to the ground and add dazzle. The vinyl top, the clean glass...it's all part of an excellent package! Inside you'll find new seat covers, new carpeting, new armrest bases and door handles mixing with the original center console, shifter and more. New brake and emergency brake pedal pads join a new gas pedal and brand new pedal dress up trim. Performance Car Graphics handled the dash restoration; we added new BE/A console top plates, new sill plates, a restored wood-grain wheel and more. The original controls turn on the heater and A/C, which does blow coldâ'that's rare! Drop underneath to see the car's clean floor pans are uniformly satin black. The fully rebuilt front suspension handles well and steers easily with the factory power steering. The original fuel tank and lines are still up to the task and remain where St. Louis put them. New brakes at all four corners stop securely. There's a new exhaust system from the correct manifolds back to the turn downs. It's clean and trip ready under here! A new 440 Magnum call out pie pan on the original air cleaner conspires with the original A/C compressor to dominate your initial view of the engine compartment. A date coded reproduction voltage regulator joins the rebuilt original ballast resistor next to the original wiper motor and new master cylinder on the firewall. The G440HP '71 motor fires immediately and runs smoothly with no issues, thanks to the original 4740S carburetor and the original points distributor. Cooling duties are handled by the correct 956 radiator and new hoses, spark travels through date-coded cables, there's a new group 27 battery in the corner, both the motor and transmission were thoroughly gone through...this car's a runner! B-Bodies make excellent cruisers, and the Charger is far and away the best looking of the bunch. Every nice Charger we get our hands on gets snatched up so fast our heads spin! This is one you donâ™t want to pass on. With its cool color, SE package and room for any number of people and their gear, this Charger is a Mopar loverâ™s dream come true.
