Another anniversary model! This time, weâre looking at the top-of-the-line technological marvel from Nissan, the 300ZX Turbo Anniversary Edition! Driven in only the nicest weather, this is likely the cleanest, best kept Anniversary Edition (AE) youâre likely to find! Follow along on a tour of the longest standard feature list Nissan had ever put together! As this is a 5 speed car, the only additional cost was $195 for its destination charge. Total sticker? $26,194.00! Thatâs a metric ton of Nissan dollars, and was far and away their most expensive offering in 1984!Buck Rodgers wouldnât recognize Earth behind the wheel of this car! There are digital gauges, bar graphs, an LED compass and G meter and LED readouts for all engine functions! The center console has the shock absorber, power seat and mirror control functions as well as the controls for the BodySonic stereoâ'devices that literally â shakeâ your seats to add the feel of bass, and not just the noise! Condition wise the interior is just about perfect, with some very minor wrinkles in the driverâs seat. Under the hood and under the car youâll find almost nothingâs changed since the car was assembled 24 years ago. Thereâs a new Nissan battery, fresh fluids, a new set of Kumho Ecsta 711 tires, and thatâs it. Underneath the suspensionâs the same, the exhaust is original, and the undercarriage looks exactly as youâd expect a 26,000 original summer-only mile car to look underneath!Nissanâs color scheme may have been classy and subdued, but that canât be said for the body! Wide fenders, rear over riders, low rocker panels emblazoned with â Turboâ callouts, a tall rear and deep front spoiler, a hood scoop and 16â machined wheels with gold tone inserts isnât exactly a subtle car! Both pewter and black paints are nearly perfect, and both are original. The trim pieces are finished in a shiny black without chalking or fading.
