1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Documented Factory R/T 440 with Factory EW1 White Painted Roof One of the reasons many muscle cars turn out to be so special comes back to the way manufacturers operated back in the day. Unlike todays ordering systems where various options are available only as part of a particular package, if you wanted a particular feature on your muscle car, you could specify it individually down to the last little detail. Due to this there are some very special and unique cars on the road and the odd combinations can sometimes add up to some very desirable collector cars. Presented here is a very special 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. Just as when it was recently discovered, it requires a close look at this car to realize just how unique it is. Ordered new at Courtesy Dodge in Raleigh North Carolina, this car was ordered with the R/T package, a 440 4bbl engine and the bullet proof Torqueflite automatic transmission. The desirable high impact colour of Plum Crazy Purple was selected with the white longitudinal striping and white interior finished off with what most initially believe is a white vinyl top, but it is in fact on closer inspection the very rare EW1 white painted roof! The uniqueness of this combination and the idea that it could in fact be the only Challenger ordered this way managed to attract the attention of some marque specialists who truly recognized how special this car is and set about a complete nut and bolt rotisserie restoration. The quality of the craftsmanship on this car speaks for itself, look closely and you will see even the hood latch has been restored with a high degree of authenticity. No details were overlooked. It of course comes fully documented including the factory build sheet, ownership records back to new in the state of North Carolina, a photo diary of the car pre-restoration, during restoration and at its completion. Since it was finished the car has seen only test mileage to ensure the car both functions as well as it appears. 1955 Chevrolet 210 - 2 Door Post Classic Styling - Modern Drivability Presented here is a beautiful example of a 1955 model Chevrolet, 2 door post car. It is a tasteful combination of original Chevrolet styling and modern upgrades which only add to the overall driving experience. The carefully restored body still sporting all its factory trim, chrome and body lines which made it famous. 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 Fully Documented - Complete Rotisserie Restoration The 1970 Chevelle SS is one of the most iconic muscle cars of the era. The styling was just right, the engine options were seemingly endless, from stripped out cars for racing to full optioned big blocks with air conditioning. Today a documented real SS Chevelle is a true collectible. The challenger being having a real car with real paperwork as it is a known fact that GM retained very little in the way of documentation meaning the car needs to retain some original paperwork, making cars like this Chevelle that much more special. This beautiful Chevelle SS has been through a recent complete nut and bolt rotisserie restoration with a high degree of attention put towards the details. The accompanying documentation with the car certainly justified the investment, including a factory build sheet and original car invoice/bill of sale documenting all options and features on the car when it was delivered new. On January 28th, 1970 the original purchaser traded in his 1967 Ford sport coupe to Newton Chevrolet in Chattanooga Tennessee and drove home his 1970 Chevelle SS 396. With a final delivery price of $4,927.87 (not including trade in!) it was a very well optioned car including tinted glass, bucket seats, console, rear window defroster, posi rear axle, power steering, power disc brakes, instrumentation, SS396 equipment and of course the desirable factory cowl induction hood and factory Air Conditioning. Today the car showcases all these factory options with a condition that certainly far outdoes the way it was when new. The chassis has been beautifully detailed including all corrected stickers and chalk markings, the numbers matching 396/350 hp and numbers matching transmission are detailed as new, the paint is fully polished and show quality, the interior has been fully restored, even going to the point of ensuring all correct badging and T3 headlamps were used. The car is a stunning example of a well optioned muscle car, perfectly at home as part of a collection or cruising the boulevards.

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air All Original Car with a Great Story! As is often the case with collector cars it is the story of its existence which makes it truly special. That is never truer than when dealing with an original, un-restored example. What many may deem ordinary becomes truly unique. This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air was purchased new by Mrs. Mildred Lineberry from Kidd Chevrolet located in Bland Virginia. She clearly wanted a comfortable car to drive and a perhaps had a bit of a heavy foot as she purchased it optioned with factory power steering, power brakes, automatic transmission and the desirable Power Pack options on the 283 engine giving it 4 bbl carburetor and dual exhaust. Factory finished in black with red interior, this Bel Air was also quite a looker. By 1974 Mrs. Lineberry had only managed to put a touch over 35,000 miles on her Chevrolet but still took it back to the dealer to be properly serviced. It was on one of these visits for service that Mr. Harry Rudder caught a glimpse of the very well maintained Bel Air and when the time finally came for the original owner to relinquish ownership, he quickly jumped at the opportunity. Mr. Rudder spent lots of time an effort maintaining the car to ensure it retained all its originality, he held onto tons of documentation including service invoices from the original owner, bill of sale from his purchase in 1974, original registration renewals, original owners manual, service records and even a travel/sewing kit given out by the original selling dealer to the original owner. But sadly as often has a tendency to happen, by 1990 Mr. Rudder was forced to put the car into storage in a barn where it would sit for the better part of two decades. Having been properly stored with the battery removed, plastic on the floors, it does show some signs of patina; however it has held up remarkably well and still retains to this day the original paint, interior and drivetrain. The carburetor was rebuilt and the gas tank replaced with an NOS unit and the car fired up instantly. Today it is an incredible car that still has that great unmistakably original feel to it. It still only shows 49,874 miles, it has seen minimal use since day one and its condition is a true testament to the attention and care it has received by its previous owners. 2001 Chrysler Prowler Impossible to Ignore Factory Street Rod All too often manufacturers will present a concept car or a design that is so eye catching and head turning that the buying public can't help but be drawn to it, all while knowing the manufacturer would never actually produce a car like that for the streets! Chrysler shocked everyone by putting the Prowler into production, creating a true hot rod style car that to this day grabs the attention of other drivers and passersby like few other production cars .... Ever!! This spectacular one owner 2001 Chrysler Prowler "Mulholland Edition" is a real head turner. Being a "Mulholland Edition" it is finished in Prowler Midnight Blue Pearl Coat paint with specific blue striping along the upper body with a matching dark blue soft top. The dark colors are set apart perfectly by the huge 20" rear and 17" front chrome wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle tires. 1936 Cadillac Series 70 Fleetwood Sedan For the 1936 model year, the Cadillac line was all new. Although the entry level model 60 series cars featured bodies by Fisher, the larger cars including the Series 70's carried the more prestigious name of Body by Fleetwood. The styling was modern for its time, more streamlined than past designs and the cars were now powered by a new 349 cubic inch L-Head V8 engine rated at 125hp. This particular 1936 Cadillac Series 70 FleetwoodSedanis finished in a very elegant shade of maroon paint, in beautiful condition. The dark shade is perfectly accented by the fantastic chrome and aluminum bright work seen throughout the car. The interior is finished in very clean grey cloth both front and rear. The L-head V8 engine starts and runs smoothly, as would be expected from a Cadillac. A true classic touring car with the look and status expected from a 30's Cadillac, setup to be driven and enjoyed for many years to come.

Fully Documented Y82 Special Edition "Bandit" 4 Speed Trans Am Particular cars become famous for many reasons, revolutionary design, leading performance or they are featured front and center in movies and TV shows. Some cars develop a cult like following based on their appearances on the big screen with the most notable examples being the 1969 Dodge Charger made famous in the Dukes of Hazzard, 1968 Mustang fastback from Bullitt, even the 1976 Ford Gran Torino seen in Starsky & Hutch. The body on this car remains original and unmolested while being treated to a fully polished application of correct black paint and gold stripe kit. 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 S Roadster Ultra Rare 1 of 150 Produced The SLR"722 Edition" is a homage by Mercedes-Benz SLRMcLaren to the unforgettable victory won by the British racing legend Stirling Moss and his co-driver Denis Jenkinson in a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLRwith the starting number 722 (indicating a start time of 7.22 a.m.) at the Mille Miglia in 1955. OriginalShelbywith Factory A/C The 1969 Shelby Mustangs featured perhaps the most drastic of styling changes from the average Mustang. The cars features redesigned front end with recessed headlights and Lucas driving lights, the front fenders were changed along with the engine hood which actually featured 5 scoops!! Rear section was also re-sculpted with the typical Shelby taillight treatment and a unique center exit exhaust system. The big change from 1968 was that for 1969 the GT-350 would be powered by the new 351 Windsor engine, an upgrade from the previous models 302. This particular 1969 Shelby GT-350 rolled off the Dearborn assembly plant February 11, 1969 was sold new at Foss Motors. Just as it appears today, it came from the factory with the 351 Windsor engine and FMX transmission, painted in Royal Maroon paint with black clarion knit/Corinthian hi-back vinyl seats. As with all the Shelby's of the time, the interior of course had the roll bar with shoulder harnesses and a full length console with toggle switches for interior lights and driving lights. Other options the car is factory equipped with include sport deck rear seats, power front disc brakes, power steering, tilt away steering wheel, tinted glass, deluxe belts/warning light, tachometer and the very desirable factory installed Air Conditioning. The car has been nicely maintained over the years and makes for an excellent car to drive and enjoy. Original, un-restored examples of collector cars are increasingly difficult to find. As time passes the cars are all being restored or are too far gone to restore. The rare and the few originals still showcasing their original weld marks and factory applied paint are becoming an important benchmark for how the cars were done back in the day. On January 8, 1963, Captain Teddy Lind left Jackson Motors in Murfreesboro TN having treated himself to a late New Years present, a brand new, Tuxedo Black 1963 Corvette Roadster. He selected a fantastic group of options and specifications, previously mentioned code 900 tuxedo black paint accented perfectly by 490D red interior; to that he added the 300 hp 327 engine, 4 speed transmission and signal seeker radio. That is how the car remains to this day, having been meticulously restored from the ground up, all while retaining its numbers matching motor and much more. Capt. Lind must have seen the value in these cars and the accompanying paperwork, as that is what has really made this car even more special today, original bill of sale, receipts for proof of payment for the car, original owners manual aged but intact. Further pieces of the puzzle come in the form of a later owner and receipts for parts and work completed to the car. 1963 was the first year for what would become, quite possibly the most recognizable Corvette body style ever. What makes this beautiful Corvette so special is that pre-dates the existence of such things as tank stickers, to find documentation for such a car is a rare treasure. Great documentation, fantastic restoration, desirable color combination, numbers matching motor all equated to a truly impressive opportunity for the Corvette collector or enthusiast.

The Auburn cars of the early 1930's were designed with cues taken from the earlier Cord L-29's, tall belt line and aggressive short windshields. The 8 cylinder series features inline L head 8 cylinder engines combined with a 3 speed transmission as well as the availability of two speed differentials and much more. They were known for being a tremendous value for the money back in the day and the same holds true today. Presented here is a very nice example of the 8-105 model Auburn in Salon Phaeton sedan body style. Today the car presents itself well in two shades of green with a complimentary green interior and tan convertible top. Complete Nut and Bolt Rotisserie Restoration The incredible popularity of the Dodge Challenger is unmistakable. The Dodge E-body has often been regarded as one of the best looking designs to emerge from the muscle car era. As is often the case, in 1970 when the cars new, convertibles were seen as too heavy for their real purpose, but today they have become the most sought after due to their rarity and in the case of the Challenger fantastic looks. Especially when combined with one of Dodges High Impact Colors! This 1971 Dodge Challenger convertible has been through a recent, meticulous nut and bolt rotisserie restoration. Finished in its factory color of Plum Crazy Purple metallic, it is a striking car with its white high back bucket interior, white longitudinal stripe and matching white soft top. One of the most interesting parts of this car are the long list of factory options including power brakes, power steering, power convertible top, rallye instrument cluster, console, dual racing mirrors, hood tie down pins, dual exhaust with chrome tips, tachometer and the very rare and sought after factory shaker hood scoop on the numbers matching 340 engine with numbers matching 4 speed transmission. Of course to back up the originality of these options the car is fully documented with a factory broadcast sheet. Beautifully Restored 4 Passenger Roadster The Pierce Arrow was a brand synonymous with luxury and power for much of the late teens. Bucking the trend of going to more cylinders like the V8's and Twin Sixes other luxury brands were promoting, Pierce Arrow stuck with its large displacement T-head 6 cylinder engines. The Pierce Big Horsepower 6 cylinder engines were known for being incredibly powerful while being silky smooth and operating in near silence. Any number of body styles and coachworks were available on the $5,200.00 chassis due to the versatility offered by large power engines. Presented here is a stunning Model 48 4 passenger roadster 1919 Piece Arrow with a custom body by Don Lee. The car was previously owned and restored by a world renowned marque specialist and as such both presents itself as beautifully as it operates. The massive 48 horsepower 525 cubic inch T head twin plug 24 valve engine is an early engineering marvel to watch in action with its exposed valve springs, shaft driven oiling system and much more. Operating this vehicle is a process equally fascinating as you slide behind the steering wheel manually pressurizing the fuel system with the dash mounted hand pump takes a minute or two and once you reach the required fuel pressure, set your spark advance, turn on the ignition and press the starter button and the big 6 fires up then settles quickly into a whisper quiet idle. Engage the traditionally operated transmission with its H pattern 4 speeds forward shifter and traditional pedal arrangement including clutch and you are under way. The torque of the massive engine makes for minimal shifts and the car easily keeps pace on modern day roads. The details seen throughout this car are impressive, from the 35×5 inch tires on spoked wheels to the clock mounted in the rear for passengers it is an incredible car with a lot of presence. An exquisite car which can be used to show or driven and enjoyed, Pierce Arrows remain a popular car for road rallys for any number of reasons from driveability to reliability and this car is no exception to this rule. It truly is a rare and exciting opportunity to acquire one of the most interesting cars to come from the early 20th century.

If ever a car had multiple lives it was the 427 Cobra. In its first life it was a Tojeiro-Bristol. Next came the A.C. Ace, followed by the Ace Bristol and finally the Ace Ford. When it looked as if it was the end of the line for A.C.'s adaptable sports car, along came Carroll Shelby and the 289 Cobra. The final and most iconic incarnation of the original Tojeiro concept came in 1966 with the 427 Cobra. When the call came for more power to match the big block Corvettes and other potent sports cars, Ford was ready with its big and powerful 427 cid V-8 engine. But in reality the original ladder frame with its transverse leaf springs had first seen production with an 85 hp engine. There was no way that it could handle well over 400 fire-breathing horses. A.C., Ford and Shelby American were up to the challenge. Ford's computers helped to design a much stiffer chassis with four-wheel independent coil spring suspension. To put all that new found power to the pavement, the six inch wire wheels were discarded for much wider Halibrand magnesium wheels, but with their corresponding width, the bigger tires couldn't fit under the standard fenders. The solution was for the craftsmen at the A.C. factory in England to construct substantial fender flares. By the time a huge front inlet was shaped to provide sufficient cooling flow for the big Ford mill, the car had a look that was nothing short of aggressive and brutal, yet still clearly a Cobra. Billed to Shelby American on May 13, 1965 and subsequently invoiced to Sexton Ford Sales Inc in Moline,Illinois. It was delivered from the factory in blue with a black interior. The cars first owner was Donald J. Hager of Illinois. Hager retained the car for 6 years of enjoyment before handing the keys over to the next proprietor Dan Bennett also from Illinois. By 1974 Bennett had enjoyed the car and elected put the car up for sale, advertised just as when new, Guardsman Blue with black interior. Doug McClellan was the next owner and he decided that after almost a decade of use, 3104 could use some freshening, he began what would become a 4 year long restoration and then the car headed south to Florida in 1979. By the mid 1980's the car showed up just a little further north in the state Georgia before heading to Baton Rouge LA under the ownership of Fred Buzzell. He retained the car for several years until he sadly passed away at which time his wife sold the car along with another 289 Cobra he owned to a name now synonymous with Cobras, Tom Kirkham. Kirkham began some further restoration work and actually got so far as advertising the car for sale before electing to keep it instead. He then used the car to help in designing his now famous replica Cobras. In 2012 was restored back to original specs by the craftsman here at LMC, well versed in the special processes required in Cobra restoration. During this process it became more than clear that the car retains its original factory aluminum skin. The Blue/Black 427 cobra is nicely restored and ready to be delivered to its next owner just the way it was delivered to its first owner in 1965. Its clean look without side pipes, roll bar or hood scoop is as subtle as a Cobra can be, while still retaining the unmistakable sound and look of an original 427 Cobra. A truly excellent example of what was arguably one of Carroll Shelby's greatest triumphs, the Big Block 427 Street Cobra.
