1956 Chevrolet Nomad Award Winning Classic Wagon The Chevrolet Nomad is perhaps the prettiest wagon ever built and a car with immense, longtime appeal simply because it is among the most classic designs of all time. Though generally credited to General Motors design's Harley Earl, its actual creators were Chevrolet studio head Clare MacKichan and stylist Carl Renner. The MacKichan group had suggested a "sport wagon" as an addition to Chevrolet's all-new 1955 line up. It is said that Mr. Renner had come up with a sketch for a station wagon roof that caught Earl's eye. Bringing this idea to the Chevrolet studio, Earl asked that it be incorporated into a station wagon version as one of three Corvette idea cars for the 1954 Motorama. The result was the Corvette Nomad, a non-running prototype with fiberglass bodywork on a 1953 Chevrolet wagon chassis. Renner's roof nicely suited the lower body lines of Chevrolet's recently announced sports car and the name was perfect. This prototype was such a hit at the show that Mr. Earl ordered that the design be part of the conventional full size car line up as soon as possible. This gorgeous 1956 example was recently acquired from a large collection. It has previously benefitted from a full frame off, authentic restoration and as a result is a previous Antiques Automobile Club of America First Prize Winner. Finished in its correct #754 Tropical Turquoise with India Ivory paint which shows beautifully, this Nomad is powered by the smooth running optional Power Pack 265 CID V8 with 4 barrel carburetor and dual exhaust, rated at 205 HP with Torque Flight automatic transmission. Completing the authentic original look of this car are the period correct wide wall tires on wheels fitted with the one year only design chrome hub caps. The matching interior is done in factory correct # 594 Light Turquoises with grey inserts that works beautifully with body colors, generous chrome and the padded dashboard with optional tissue dispenser. Equipped with a fully functional tail gate with flip up window, the Nomad was the SUV of its day. The longer you examine this car, the better it gets. From The unmistakable combination of 50's style and colors to the copious quantities of stunning chrome, it is no surprise these cars are one of the most desirable wagons of all time. Don't miss your chance to buy this show stopper.

1947 Lincoln Continental Convertible CCCA Award Winner The Lincoln Continental was introduced in 1940, just prior to the onset of World War II. The Lincoln marque had weathered The Great Depression and the Continental signaled to the world that they were serious about their desires to compete in the luxury car segment. The design was modern, elegant, and slightly European with a long front bonnet that gracefully concealed a potent V12 engine. On the inside, they were lavishly appointed and with amenities being offered as standard equipment. Exteriorly, there was little trim or chrome which was done to keep the car simple, relying on the beauty of its design rather than trying to attract based on eye catching bright pieces. The rear fenders were covered with skirts over the wheels. This was stretched to match the rear trunk. Located in the rear of the vehicle was a covered spare tire. This was sort of an afterthought; as production came to a close, the designers noticed there was little room for a spare, so they covered it and incorporated it into the vehicles trunk. This would become a signature design for the Continental series. After World War II, production of the Lincoln Continental continued, with no changes occurring until 1948. They were available in only two body-styles, coupe or convertible. This 1947 Lincoln Continental Convertible is one of only 738 built, and has previously won the prestigious Collector Car Club of America First Place National Senior award. This award is a testament to the quality and detail of this previous restoration. The ultra-smooth running 292 cubic-inch side valve twelve-cylinder engine, produces 130 horsepower is hooked to a column shifted three-speed manual gearbox and four-wheel hydraulic actuated drum brakes. The elegant tan body rests comfortably on the 125 inch wheelbase and has a powered tan retractable top, power windows and electric clock and wide white wall tires that compliment that classic look. The interior is equipped with art deco instrumentation and controls with dark brown Naugahyde seating. The top can be secured with the supplied tonneau cover when retracted. If you're looking for a true classic to drive enjoy and show, this car has it all.

Known for our award winning concourse style restorations........ Legendary Motorcar has applied that same level of quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail to the fabrication and development of many cars. This eye catching, fully customized 1968 Charger R/T is an excellent example of one of such cars . A customer approached us with an idea for a modified Charger, upgraded suspension, interior and drivetrain, what came out the other end was nothing short of spectacular. Starting with a 1968 Charger R/T, a rack and pinion front end was installed with a Dodge Super Stock rear suspension setup with Budnik 18" front and 19" rear wheels over Baer sloted and cross-drilled brakes, a stroked version of the legendary 440 MOPAR engine was used with 501 cu in., making approx. 550hp and sounding even better with full Magnaflow exhaust. An automatic transmission with overdrive was installed with a bulletproof rear end and 4.10 gears. Many other custom pieces were integrated into the interior including custom dash panel/gauge cluster, push button starter, concealed accessory switches, shaved door handles with electronic release, full custom sound system and the required Vintage Air A/C system. With only a few miles on this beautiful car hand crafted here at LMC, it is fully sorted and not just another show car, but something that actually works too. All the modern amenities and built with today's technology, coupled with the timeless design and style of the 1968 Charger R/T mark a very unique opportunity to own the best of both worlds.

Win on Sunday, sell on Monday was the philosophy of the big three manufacturers in the 1969, as the glory days of muscle cars and true stock car racing approached its pinnacle years. No car demonstrates a companies "at all costs" desire to win races than the over the top "Winged Warriors" from the MOPAR camp. The Plymouth Superbird and close cousin Dodge Daytona. For 1970, Plymouth produced fewer than 2,000 examples of the Superbird with a meager 135 delivered with a factory 426 HEMI engine . This example of the Superbird has been restored to its factory correct colour of Tor-Red or HEMI orange as it's known to the Dodge folks, with a black vinyl roof and black vinyl interior. If there were such a thing as a subtle Superbird, this car with its transverse stripe delete option would have to be it! What truly makes this Superbird special is the factory equipped, numbers matching 426 HEMI engine; making this 1 of the only 135 produced. Also equipped with power steering, power disc brakes and an automatic transmission, this HEMI 'Bird is a great driving example of a legend, one that would be equally at home on display as part of a large collection or rolling down the roads, turning the heads of enthusiast young and old. Whether it's recognized as "The King" of racing or as a muscle car, it can't helped but be noticed.
